Whether it’s cold or sunny, South Africans love braai. Not only do we enjoy having friends and family over for this outdoor cooking experience, but we always enjoy it during the winter months. We have the recipe that will warm you up as you feast on rich, high-quality produce that only South Africa can provide. Our braai lamb chops are a celebration of one of our favorite meats to add to the braai along with everything else.
Tips for your braai lamb chops
The marinade and basting sauce are the same, made with garlic, lemon juice, lemon zest, rosemary, parsley, thyme and olive oil. Remember to season after tasting so as not to overdo it. Brush the chops as they go on the braai. Trim the fat in case they roll up, but don’t touch the meat. You can also prepare these excellent lamb chops in the oven or even in an air fryer. Serve with savory vegetables and garlic bread with a glass of wine to bring it all together.
Enjoy a proudly South African meal with our braai lamb chops. A tasty celebration of quality local produce while enjoying sport this weekend.
