Easy chicken marinade

Looking for an easy chicken marinade for dinner? Here’s a simple marinade for chicken that you make right in a ziplog bag. It’s mess-free and delicious!

This easy to make chicken marinade for dinner can be made in 30 minutes or 1 day before you need to cook a meal. I usually mix the ingredients in a bowl before adding them to the Ziploc bag. You can also mix the ingredients directly in the bag without a bowl.

Why is marinade important anyway? Marinating your protein or vegetables will add more flavor and moisture to your meal! There is nothing worse than having a dry or unseasoned meal especially when you are very hungry. This chicken can go great with any side dish! I like to include carrots, potatoes, green beans, corn, or squash. Choose your favourite!

Zip lock bag

■ 2 pounds boneless chicken breast ■ 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil ■ 3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice ■ 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar ■ 1/4 cup brown sugar ■ 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce ■ 1/2 tsp garlic powder ■ 1 1/2 tsp salt ■ 1 tsp pepper

1. Combine all ingredients in a large Ziploc bag or divide between two medium-sized bags.

2. Add the chicken breast and make sure it is coated in the bag.

3. Marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
