Cape Cod’s Best BBQ Restaurants According to Reader Survey Results

The barbecue brings excitement to any party, with its combination of fire, smoke and weather being the perfect recipe.

While many people barbecue at home, especially on Labor Day, an equal number are looking for take out barbecue. The Cape Cod Times readers came out this week with the five best barbecue places on Cape Cod.

The first by far, with 29.2% of the vote, was The Alley Bowling & BBQ in Orléans. As its name suggests, the Orleans spot not only offers all kinds of barbecue and homestyle accompaniments (fried green tomatoes, buttermilk cookies and poutine) but also a candlelit bowling alley and a bar with 16 beers on tap.
